NorthRidge Member Story by Casey B.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We moved to Ely 1.5 years ago. The bank we were using at the time had its closest location in Superior, WI. They didn’t answer our three phone calls to find out if we needed to pick up a cashier’s check or initiate a wire transfer from their location to fund closing on our house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon closing at the title office in Ely, we finally got through to our bank in Superior. We were informed that we would need to do a wire transfer in person (in Superior). Our realtor drove us to three banks in town to see if they could write a cashier’s check with a payment from my card with no luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had lost hope for our house, especially with an antsy seller with another buyer if we faltered. Our realtor wrote us a personal check for the closing costs, to have us pay her back after closing. We were blown away, we might not have made it without her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She told us she was on the board<\/a> for NorthRidge Community Credit Union. We switched to them as soon as we got settled, because of the faith she had to write her check to us – the faith no one else had. We are forever grateful!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
